10/30/08: BalkanInsight reports that a Serbian prosecutor is requesting an investigation of seven people who helped former Bosnian Serb police chief, Stojan Zupljanin, avoid detection and arrest. Zuplijanin managed to dodge authorities for years by assuming a false identity and moving from secret locations with the aid of several sympathizers. The prosecutor is seeking to indict those who aided Zuplijanin, who is now facing war crimes charges in The Hague.
06/15/08: On Wednesday, Serbia arrested Bosnian Serb security chief Stojan Zupljanin and will hand him over to the International Criminal Tribunal - Yugoslavia. The story is here.
