11/03/09: CNN reports that a Spanish judge indicted seven suspected Islamic militants Monday for allegedly helping some perpetrators of the Madrid train bombings in 2004 to flee Spain after the attacks. Spanish courts already have convicted 14 Islamic militants for their roles in the attacks, along with four Spaniards, the latter for trafficking in explosives used in the attacks.
08/13/09: CNN reports that a Moroccan man wanted for links to the Madrid train bombings in 2004
was brought to Spain from France on Wednesday, a Spanish police
statement said. The suspect, Said Rehou, 27, born in Casablanca, Morocco, allegedly
held indoctrination sessions for Islamic militants at his former Madrid
home, the statement said.
