reports that US District Judge for the District of Hawaii Helen Gilmor
has ordered a mental exam for defendant Noshir Gowadia, 65, who stands
accused of helping the Chinese government design a cruise missile that
can evade
infrared detection, trying to sell military secrets to other countries,
and making false statements and money laundering. The exam is likely to
delay the trial for four to five months.
